TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BARNEYS SALON SUPPLIES

Welcome to the Barneys Salon Supplies website.

Please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions applicable to interacting with this website, our products and services. By using, joining or ordering products from this website, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.  Our Terms and Conditions include the provisions on this page together with the terms contained on the webpages below (Shipping, Returns & Warranty, Privacy Policy and Payment Options).

Terms and Conditions on this website are subject to change at any time without notice.

Barneys Salon Supplies may be represented and referred to in the following instances: “We”, “Barneys” and/or “Barneys Salon Supplies”.

 

Pricing and Orders

Barneys Salon Supplies products are priced at the lowest price possible without compromising quality and service. Barneys Salon Supplies strive to offer everyday low prices by buying in bulk and selling online, allowing us to reduce our operating costs. From time to time, we may be forced to adjust our prices without given notice due to manufacturing production cost increases, variations in international currency rates and/or price increases passed on from local suppliers.

All transactions on the Barneys Salon Supplies website are settled in Australian Dollars ($AUD) or New Zealand Dollars ($NZD), dependent on the customers location. Prices displayed on the site are inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax) in Australia.

No order may be cancelled unless we agree. If we agree to a cancellation, we have the right to claim indemnity against any loss or costs we incur as a result of the cancellation.

 

Promotional Offers

From time-to-time Barneys Salon Supplies may promote an offer including special prices, discounts, gift with purchase, limited edition products and or other offers. Promotions advertised will each contain additional specific Terms & Conditions for the individual promotion(s) or offer(s) and will also be subject to the following, whether stated in advertising or not:

  • Valid for a specified time frame only - If a time frame or end date is not specified then the promotion or offer can be ended at any time without notice.
  • Valid while stocks last - Will not be provided on items that have sold out.
  • Rain checks - Will not be provided on items that have sold out.
  • Subject to availability - When a Bonus item, giveaway or gift is offered with a purchase, items may be substituted if the original item promoted has become unavailable.

 

Website Products & Images

Product images and example use images featured on this website will be represented as close to the product as possible. Actual product, packaging or labels may vary from the image on the website from time-to-time due to reasons beyond our control.

Suppliers make changes to product packaging and labels; we will always work to update images on the website as quickly as possible, however, at times it is not possible to update the image before products are supplied. Specifications for products can be updated from time-to-time and the website will be updated as quickly as possible. Please note, we will not ship any product if changes negatively impact the effectiveness for which the product is intended.

Products can be returned for refund if they are in as new condition and unused. Please refer to the Returns Policy as shipping charges will not be refunded.

 

Liability

We will always comply with the Australian Consumer Law and any other legal obligations we may have to you. 

Our liability to you for faulty or defective products is limited to the following (at our election):

  • for products, any one or more of:
    1. replacement of the products or the supply of equivalent products;
    2. repair of the products;
    3. payment of the cost of replacing the products or of acquiring equivalent products; and
    4. payment of the cost of having the products repaired; or
  • for services:
    1. supplying of the services again; or
    2. payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

 

Except as provided in these Terms and Conditions, and to the extent permitted by relevant laws including the Australian Consumer Law, all express and implied warranties, guarantees and conditions under statute or general law as to merchantability, description, quality, suitability or fitness of our products or services for any purpose or as to design, assembly, installation, materials or workmanship or otherwise are expressly excluded. We are not liable for physical or financial injury, loss or damage or for consequential loss or damage of any kind arising out of the use of our products or services or arising out of our negligence or in any way.

You agree that you will be liable for all things connected with your use of our products and services and you indemnify us fully against any claims, liabilities, costs, expenses and damages unless such claims, liabilities, costs, expenses and/or damages have resulted in whole or in part from any act or failure to act by us or the manufacturer of the products.

 

Other Terms and Conditions

 

The laws of Victoria, Australia, apply to these Terms and Conditions.  You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of this jurisdiction.

Returns and Warranty | Barneys Salon Supplies

Barneys Salon Supplies are here to help you manage your Returns & Warranties without the hassle.

Understandably, from time-to-time one or more items may need to be returned, and we are happy to assist you through this process. Should you need to arrange a return, please follow these simple procedures.

  • Please seek approval before returning any items, we cannot accept goods that have not been pre-approved for return.
  • Once a return has been approved, please ensure that you use a Trackable service for the return, goods shipped but not received by Barneys cannot be exchanged, credited or replaced. If you would prefer, Barneys can arrange return shipping on your behalf.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept goods that have not been approved for return.   

 

Returns Procedure

1. Incorrect item ordered

If you have accidentally ordered the wrong item and wish to arrange a return, contact Barneys Salon Supplies within 7 days of receiving your order.  Please provide your original invoice details.             

Once your item has been approved for return, we will be happy to provide an exchange or credit toward your next purchase less the original and return cost of shipping. Please ensure that you use a Trackable service to return the goods if arranging your own shipping, or request for Barneys Salon Supplies to arrange the return (at your cost). Goods shipped but not received by Barneys Salon Supplies cannot be exchanged, credited or replaced.       

Standard re-shipping costs will apply for the exchange items, please refer to our shipping page. Returned goods must be received by Barneys Salon Supplies in their original condition, packing must be unopened and undamaged and be in a resalable condition. Goods that are received back to Barneys that are not in their original condition, opened or damaged will be returned to you once you have paid the return cost of shipping.                                                                               

Please ensure that you include a copy of your original invoice and Return Authority inside the parcel when returning goods to Barneys Salon Supplies.



2. Incorrect item received

If you have received an item incorrectly, an item you did not order, please contact Barneys within 7 days of receiving your order. Please provide your original invoice details. If Barneys approve the return due to an error caused by us, we will arrange for the item to be picked up and returned, and once received we will despatch the correct item immediately.                

Returned goods must be received by Barneys Salon Supplies in their original condition, packaging must be unopened and undamaged and be in a resalable condition. Goods that are received back to Barneys Salon Supplies that are not in their original condition, opened or damaged will be returned to you once you have paid the return cost of shipping.                                                                    

Please ensure that you include a copy of your original invoice and Return Authority inside the parcel when returning goods to Barneys Salon Supplies.



3. Goods received are damaged

Thankfully, damages are rare, but they do occur from time to time. If you have been unlucky and receive damaged goods, contact Barneys by email  immediately with details of your invoice and a photo of the damaged item. Once approved, we will process your claim as quickly as possible and arrange for a replacement to be shipped or refund.           

For items that need to be returned, please ensure that you include a copy of your original invoice and Return Authority inside the parcel.      
   

4. Faulty items - WARRANTY

All products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty; however, warranty conditions can vary between each manufacturer.  Barneys will work with you to quickly resolve any warranty matter, naturally if the product is deemed to be a faulty product we will arrange for replacement or repair as quickly as is possible.  Where appropriate, we will assign to you the benefit of any warranty or entitlement that the manufacturer has granted to us, to the extent that the benefit of any warranty or entitlement is assignable.

          

Warranties for defective products apply so long as:

  • the defect has arisen solely from faulty materials or workmanship
  • the product has not been interfered with or damaged through no fault of ours or the manufacturer
  • accessories of any kind used by with the product are manufactured by or approved by us or the manufacture
  • we are promptly notified about the defect and the defective product is promptly returned to us.

    

Please contact Barneys Salon Supplies immediately after you have discovered that an item is faulty. Please email your original purchase invoice and if relevant a picture of the faulty item. Generally, manufacturers require the item to be returned at the purchasers cost to the manufacturer or to the place of purchase so that it can be assessed. If the item is deemed to be faulty, we will arrange for a replacement or repair at our discretion and we will keep you informed as to the outcome of the assessment. Should the item be deemed to not be a warranty claim, we will contact you to discuss possibilities for repair'. All items can only be returned once the shipping cost has been paid in advance. Often, we will be able to assess faulty products by speaking with customers and with pictures, Barneys Salon Supplies will work with you to achieve the best possible outcome.                                                           

Please ensure that you include a copy of your original invoice and Return Authority inside the parcel when returning goods to Barneys Salon Supplies. We also recommend that you use a Trackable service, goods shipped but not received by Barneys Salon Supplies cannot be exchanged, credited or replaced.

Shipping & Delivery | Barneys Salon Supplies

Barneys Salon Supplies has a shipping option to suit your needs.

SAME DAY DISPATCH

All orders received before 1:00pm will be dispatched the same day, except on weekends and public holidays.

At Barneys Salon Supplies we continually work to improve our service levels to ensure we maintain the highest industry standards. One of our highest priorities is to ship all orders as quickly as possible. We understand the importance for your business to have product when you need it and the frustration when orders are late. We monitor our freight provider daily, receiving reports regarding all consignments and follow up any delays as soon as we have been informed.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • the products which are part of any order placed by you will be shipped to the address specified by you at the time of submitting your order, and that all the information you provide will be accurate;
  • any delivery timeframes we provide are our best estimates only.
  • we will not be liable for any loss, damage or delay caused by late delivery of your order.

 

 

STANDARD SHIPPING

Orders Over $150 

Barneys Salon Supplies offer FREE shipping to ALL Capital Cities and many other locations around Australia*or heavily subsidise costs to most other locations. Large, bulky and heavy items may incur a shipping charge, these items are identified in the online shopping product gallery.

Shipping charges vary enormously depending on location and the size and weight of the items shipped.  In an effort to retain our highly competitive prices and quality products, we will continue to heavily subsidise shipping costs, yet in some cases we will need to pass on some costs to some regional and remote areas.

All shipping charges are calculated at the checkout.


Orders Under $150

For orders under $150 there is a flat rate shipping charge of $20, unfortunately we are unable to absorb all of the packing and shipping costs. Large, bulky and heavy items may also incur a shipping charge, these items are identified in the online shopping product gallery.

PRIORITY SHIPPING

We understand that sometimes products run out quicker than anticipated or you may need a product for a client booking urgently. Therefore, we have introduced PRIORITY SHIPPING to provide the quickest possible delivery. This service is Not available for dangerous, large, bulky and heavy Items, such as nail polish, acetone or related products, salon furniture and other items.

Orders must be received prior to 12:00pm for PRIORITY SHIPPING and same day dispatch.

 

SAME DAY SHIPPING

Barneys offers a same day shipping service to Melbourne metropolitan locations. Click here to see if this service is available in your area and costs associated

Same day shipping orders and payments must be received before 12:00pm midday - orders received after this time will be shipped the next day.  Orders can be delivered any time after the order has been placed, up until 6:00pm the same day. We are unable to provide an exact time of delivery. 

Heavy, bulky and large goods are not available for our Same Day Shipping Service.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We are now open to shipping to New Zealand.  

Shipping charges vary enormously depending on location and the size and weight of the items shipped.  In an effort to retain our highly competitive prices and quality products, we will continue to heavily subsidise shipping costs but will need to pass on some costs to our customers. 

All orders are shipped from Melbourne, Australia and therefore may take a couple of days to clear customs procedures. You will be provided up to date notifications of your orders whereabouts from our delivery partners.   

Orders received by 1:00pm AEST will be dispatched same day.  

All local New Zealand Import Duties and Taxes will be payable by the customer. 

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Re-delivery & Authority to Leave (ATL)
Shipping services are provided by different providers.

Unfortunately, we are NOT able to deliver to Australia Post Boxes, Parcel Lockers or Locked Bags. It is strongly advised that goods are shipped to a business address where a signature can be provided. If the shipping providers are unable to deliver and are required to return for a re-delivery, a $35 delivery fee will be charged onto you, the Customer.

If selecting ATL (Authority to leave) you do so at your own risk. Barneys Salon Supplies cannot take responsibility for any goods that then go missing. We strongly suggest that you seek an alternative delivery address where a signature can be provided.


Tracking your order
Beauty Brands Group Pty Ltd, parent company of Barneys Salon Supplies will email a Tracking number for all consignments, using this link you can easily track the progress of your order. 

Should you require any assistance in Tracking your delivery please call our toll-free number 1800 958 260 (552?) one of our friendly team will assist.

How long will my delivery take?
Shipping all orders immediately is our highest priority, our aim is to dispatch orders received before 1:00pm, Monday to Friday, on the same day. (Not including weekends & public holidays). Should we experience any reason to delay your order we will contact you to advise of the delay.

Please refer to the list below for estimated shipping times to your location, please note that these shipping times are based on the dispatch date, not order date.

Estimated shipping days may vary for large, bulky and heavy items, and during high traffic periods such as pre-Christmas or days surrounding public holidays.

1 HOUR CLICK & COLLECT:

This service is free and can be selected upon Checkout or requested upon phone orders. Simply visit our business location in Burwood, Victoria and collect your order from our reception. You may also like to check out our showroom for new products and pickup anything you may have missed from your order.  Our experienced and trained team are there to offer free advice and tips regarding our products.

We will notify you by email when your order is ready to collect or please add a message to your order with an approximate time you would like to pick up your order. Please allow at least 1 hour for your order to be ready for collection 

Pickup location is Burwood VIC 3125

Pick Up Hours: 9:00am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday (Except public holidays)

 

1 HOUR DRIVE & COLLECT:

If you are running short of time, select Drive & Collect at checkout. It is free and we will have your order ready and place it in your car when you arrive.

We will notify you by email when you order is ready to collect or please add a message to your order with an approximate time you would like to pick up your order from our warehouse. Please allow at least 1 hour for your order to be ready for collection. Upon arrival call us on 03 8520 9540 and one of our team members will place your order in your car boot.
