Barneys Salon Supplies are here to help you manage your Returns & Warranties without the hassle.

Understandably, from time to time one or more items may need to be returned, we are happy to assist you through this process. Should you need to arrange a return, please follow these simple procedures. Unfortunately, we cannot accept goods that have not been approved for return.   

Please seek approval before returning any items, we cannot accept goods that have not been pre-approved for return. Once a return has been approved, please ensure that you use a Trackable service for the return, goods shipped but not received by Barneys cannot be exchanged, credited or replaced. If you would prefer, Barneys can arrange return shipping on your behalf.

 

Returns Procedure

1. Incorrect item ordered

if you have accidentally ordered the wrong item and wish to arrange a return, contact Barneys within 7 days of receiving your order.  Please provide your original invoice details.             

Once your item has been approved for return, we will be happy to provide an exchange or credit toward your next purchase less the original and return cost of shipping. Please ensure that you use a Trackable service to return the goods if arranging your own shipping, or request for Barneys to arrange the return (at your cost). Goods shipped but not received by Barneys cannot be exchanged, credited or replaced.       

Standard re-shipping costs will apply for the exchange items, please refer to our shipping page.  Returned goods must be received by Barneys Salon Supplies in their original condition, packing must be unopened and undamaged and be in a resalable condition. Goods that are received back to Barneys that are not in their original condition, opened or damaged will be returned to you once you have paid the return cost of shipping.                                                                               

Please ensure that you include a copy of your original invoice and Return Authority inside the parcel when returning goods to Barneys Salon Supplies.


2. Incorrect item received

If you have received an item incorrectly, an item you did not order, please contact Barneys within 7 days of receiving your order. Please provide your original invoice details. If Barneys approve the return due to an error caused by us, we will arrange for the item to be picked up and returned, and once received we will despatch the correct item immediately.                

Returned goods must be received by Barneys Salon Supplies in their original condition, packaging must be unopened and undamaged and be in a resalable condition. Goods that are received back to Barneys that are not in their original condition, opened or damaged will be returned to you once you have paid the return cost of shipping.                                                                    

Please ensure that you include a copy of your original invoice and Return Authority inside the parcel when returning goods to Barneys Salon Supplies.


3. Goods received are damaged

Thankfully, damages are rare but they do occur from time to time. If you have been unlucky and receive damaged goods, contact Barneys by email immediately with details of your invoice and a photo of the damaged item. Once approved, we will process your claim as quickly as possible and arrange for a replacement to be shipped.              

For items that need to be returned, please ensure that you include a copy of your original invoice and Return Authority inside the parcel.         

4. Faulty items - WARRANTY

All products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, however, warranty conditions can vary between each manufacturer. Barneys will work with you to quickly resolve any warranty matter, naturally if the product is deemed to be a faulty product we will arrange for replacement or repair as quickly as is possible.                

Please contact Barneys Salon Supplies immediately after you have discovered that an item is faulty. Please email your original purchase invoice and if relevant a picture of the faulty item. Generally, manufacturers require the item to be returned at the purchasers cost to the manufacturer or to the place of purchase so that it can be assessed. If the item is deemed to be faulty we will arrange for a replacement or repair, we will keep you informed as to the outcome of the assessment. Should the item be deemed to not be a warranty claim, we will contact you to discuss possibilities for repair, all items can only be returned once the shipping cost has been paid in advance. Often we will be able to assess faulty products by speaking with customers and with pictures, Barneys will work with you to achieve the best possible outcome.

We also recommend that you use a Trackable service, goods shipped but not received by Barneys Salon Supplies cannot be exchanged, credited or replaced.
